Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Ramu Kaka account and associated data at any time. Here is how — including an email-based option if you cannot access the app.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. Account deletion is self-service in the mobile app.

    Open the app

    Launch Agent Ramu Kaka on your phone and sign in to the account you want to delete.

    Go to Settings

    Tap your avatar in the top right → Profile → Settings.

    Tap "Delete Account"

    Scroll to the danger zone at the bottom and tap “Delete Account”.

    Confirm your identity

    Enter your password or complete the OTP sent to your registered phone or email.

  5. 5

    Done

    Your account is marked for deletion immediately and all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Delete by email (no app access)

If you cannot sign in to the app, email us from the address registered on your account and we will verify and delete it.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, phone, avatar, password hash.
  • Your membership in every flat you belong to.
  • Messages, expenses, meals, recipes, photos, and notes you authored — unless they are shared in a flat where other members still need them (in that case they remain visible to that flat, but your name is anonymised).
  • All push and notification tokens for your device.
  • Any AI history tied to your account.

What we keep (and for how long)

  • Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot be linked to you — retained indefinitely to improve the product.
  • Transaction records (if you purchased a paid plan) — retained for the minimum period required by Indian tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
  • Fraud and abuse records — retained as required to prevent repeated abuse.

Everything else is permanently removed within 30 days of your deletion request.
